I feel like I’ve been holding my breath forever keeping everything under wraps 🤫 and I can’t do it anymore! Lol
I have been working on something really special the past few months and I’m beyond thrilled to officially announce the launch of the SCE Coaching Academy!
As most of you know, I have been an instructor and the training director of the coaching school where I was certified 15 years ago! In addition to helping coaches launch their businesses, teaching people the skills to coach others to success and realize their dream of having an impact, well, it’s one of my main passions.
I’ve offered CCE courses in the past and I am an ICF Mentor coach for those looking to get credentialed but really wanted to offer the full experience!
An opportunity presented itself this year and I couldn’t think of a better time than the 15th anniversary year of my business to realize the vision I’ve had for my company since the beginning. I’ve always dreamt of being THE go-to place where passionate people who want to make a difference can come and get certified, earn a credential and launch their business.
A place where they are fully supported not only by myself and my team but by a community of like-minded individuals working towards similar goals!
So, I jumped on it. I created my first full certification program, Coaching with Emotional Intelligence. It’s off to an amazing start towards creating that space. I ran a pilot of the program and was looking for just 6 students in the co-hort. So, I reached out to some people who I knew were looking to make a change. What I found were 10 people who were excited to test it out!! What a blessing!
Half were brand new to coaching and the other half were already certified coaches.
It’s hard to explain the feeling of having the privilege to bring my own experience and knowledge to students, with the framework I created, and see them shine. And then read their amazing feedback. It is something I will never forget or take for granted 💜

I created this program for two audiences.
1. Those that are looking to make a change – they have a career or J.O.B., (or maybe separated from it), but want to make a change.
They are tired of working for other people.
They need flexibility in their schedules.
They want to have a huge impact in their lifetime and just don’t see that happening with their current career path.
They are interested in learning coaching skills that are based on the core competencies and ethics of the largest coaching organization in the world, the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
They want to take it a step further and be prepared to apply for the ACC credential through the ICF
2. Those that are already certified coaches – they want to further develop and expand on their coaching skills.
They are interested in learning how to connect with clients on a deeper level by developing their Emotional Intelligence
They want to dive deep into what Emotional Intelligence is and how to leverage it for success in business and life.
They are interested in applying for the ICF ACC Credential.

Practical Coaching Skills: Through real time training sessions centered around the International Coaching Federation’s Core Competencies, coaching practice with immediate feedback and interactive discussions, you’ll practice new techniques and refine your approach to meet the needs of diverse clients.
Deep Understanding of Emotional Intelligence: Learn the five pillars of EI, (self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills), and how to apply them effectively in coaching.
These are small groups capped at 8 students, so everyone gets the attention they need to excel!
*I’ve applied for accreditation through the ICF and am awaiting the designation of a Level 1 program. The program is eligible to be accredited and backdated to the dates the pilot ran.*
